Eine dünnes Büchlein, das sich zu einem Teil mit sehr allgemeinen, teils nichtssagenden Themen zur Erdgeschichte befaßt und nur auf relativ wenigen Seiten ein paar Meeressaurier oder andere Meeresbewohner der Vorzeit beschreibt, und das in einer vorsichtig gesagt sehr anspruchslosen Weise, die sich offenbar an ganz junge oder völlig ahnungslose Leser zu wenden versucht. Die an sich guten Illustrationen werden durchgehend dadurch entwertet, daß mengenweise Text darüber geschrieben wurde. Wer dieses Layout zu verantworten hat, sollte dringend den Beruf wechseln. Das Buch ist aus meiner Sicht für nichts zu gebrauchen, sicher nicht für die eigene Bibliothek und auch nicht zum Verschenken, nicht einmal an Grundschulkinder. Ich habe es zurückgeschickt.
